		<Abstract>The mono nitration of phenols and naphthols has been reported in high yields and short reaction times using the task specific ionic liquid based on nitrate ion, 1,4-bis(4-sulfobuthyl)-1,4-diazabicyclo[2.2.2]octane di nitrate, as reagent without acid co-catalyst at mild condition. The reagent could be recovered and reused several times without significant lose of reactivity</Abstract>
