Thisstudy addresses this issue with a queuing modelthat uses multi-objective set covering constraints. It considers facilities as potential locations with the objective of covering all customers with a minimum number of facilities. Themodel is designed based on the assumption that customers can meet their needs from a singlefacility. It also considers three objective functions, namely minimizing the total number of the assigned server, minimizing the total transportation and facility deploymentcostsand maximizing the quality of service from the customers’ point of view. The main constraintis that every center shouldhave less than b numbers of people in line with a probability of at least α, upon the arrival of a new customer.The feasibility of the approach is demonstrated by several examples which aredesigned and optimized byaproposed hybrid simulated annealing (SA)algorithm to evaluate the model’svalidity. In this paper, we have extended fuzzy VIKOR using an efficient fuzzy distance measure to solve applicable SSP under group decision making process. In our study, an efficient fuzzy VIKOR for solving SSP under group decision making process is presented in which decision makers have different weights in decision making process and its opinions are collected in the form of linguistic variables. In our methodology, preference ratio method is applied to rank the alternatives. Although different policies can be employed for resolving this problem, optimizing the efficiency of energy suppliers can be addressed as a key policy in this regard. This paper presents an adjusted Network Data Envelopment Analysis (NDEA) model for evaluating performance of energy supply chain in Iran from production to distribution stages. Some suggestions are proposed to optimize the performance of the energy supply chain. The NDEA model is adjusted by using assurance region (AR) to achieve more real and scientific results. Borders of the assurance region obtained fromData Envelopment Analytic Hierarchy Process (DEAHP) method are entered into the NDEA model. The results obtained from this model are compared with those of conventional NDEA and technical efficiency in pairs. However, DMs for dealing with uncertain situations can define their opinions in linguistic variables based on fuzzy sets in industrial selection problems. In this respect, an interval-valued hesitant fuzzy set (IVHFS) is the suitable and capable theory that could help the DMs by assigning some interval-valued membership degrees for a candidate or option under a set. This paper introduces a novel interval-valued hesitant fuzzy distance-based group decision (IVHF-DBGD) model by a group of DMs, in which the best potential alternative can be appraised and selected among the conflicting criteria. In the proposed IVHF-DBGD model, the weight of each criterion is determined by extended IVHF-entropy method along with the DMs’ opinions about the criteria’ weights. Also, the weight of each DM is computed by a new IVHF-order preference method with the relative closeness. Moreover, this paper introduces a new IVHF-collective index to discriminate among potential alternatives in the selection process. In this paper, a multi-objective model in a group of hub location problems, referred to as protection models for survivable network design, is developed. In fact, this model is a hub location problem that aims to maximize the potential flow between the origin and destination node pairs in the network, which has the minimum potential flow among all O-D pairs, including multiple assignment and back-up routes. In addition, it concerns the fixed cost of installation of the hub facilities. A fuzzy goal programming method is applied to solve the model. Different scenarios are implemented using Turkish data set and also numerical experiments are presented to illustrate the advantages of the proposed model in some aspects, compared to previous models. To study this concept, in this article we have developed the two warehouse inventory model with the consideration of preservation technology investment Demand rate is treated as linear function of instantaneous stock level. The limited storage area (OW) is used for the storage of the stock. The excess amount of stock than the capacity of the owned warehouse (OW) is stored in the rented warehouse (RW). The holding cost of rented warehouse is greater than the holding cost of owned warehouse (OW) so that stock of rented warehouse (RW) is used first and than the stock of (OW) is consumed. The shortages are allowed and partially backlogged under the effect of inflation. The main aim of this study is to find the optimal vale of total cost function. Numerical illustrations and sensitivity analysis are given at the end of this article.
